Awa'awapuhi Trail, Kaua'i - September 6, 2015

What an amazing view in Kaua'i. Well worth the 6 mile round trip hike.

Deep in the Waimea Canyon of Kaua'i holds the Awa'awapuhi Trail.

The trail is easy to follow and well maintained. This is pretty much your view the entire hike. The trail has a downward slope so you'll get there fast and easy, but remember its incline on the way back!

Around the 2 mile mark theres openings when you hike.

The closer we got to the end we was worried that the clouds would be covering our view.

Then followed the rain.

About an hour and a half later we reached the end!

It's not recommend but we passed the gate to get a better view. Be cautious of loose dirt and rocks. The ridge is very thin!

Soon as we went down the ridge the clouds came in.

We ate, took a nap and waited for about an hour until...

The clouds cleared!

The mountains where so amazing. The colors and the shapes, felt like we were in a whole new world.

After enjoying the view I drunk my GR3EN and started to hike back.
