Kaiwi Coast - December 25, 2013

Merry Christmas! We spent most of our Christmas Day venturing out the Kaiwi Coastline with our new Canon 7D camera along with our handy GoPro. I (Tony) came here a few nights before and already knew it looked like a nice place to visit during the day time.

Parking at the end of Sandy's, the trail was quite obvious. The trail looked ideal for light jogging or biking.

Before Alan Davis, there is 3 other lagoons. I wouldn't recommend swimming in them. Brackish water carry many parasites that could be fatal.

The waves were a bit choppy and it was a bit windy.

We found an odd man made wall. I wonder what it was used for. Where it is built, fresh ocean water crashes onto the rocks and falls into the rock wall area like a waterfall.

Just beautiful scenery of Koko Head Crater.

We ventured around, exploring without direction. After we headed back to my truck and headed for the beach! We hope everyone had an awesome Christmas!
