Queen's Bath, Kaua'i - September 5, 2015
For Kyla & I's 3 year anniversary we decided to take a trip to Kaua'i. First stop, Queen's Bath!
The trail is relatively easy. When it rains it can get pretty muddy and slippery.
You also pass by this little waterfall.
It wasn't long before we reached the coastline. Maybe about 15 min or so.
During the winter months big surf hit the North Shore of Kaua'i which make swimming at Queen's bath very dangerous. The swells sweep through the tide pools and drag you back out to sea. Let's be safe and smart here, many people have already lost their lives.
The waterfall does meet the sea at the coast. It truly is beautiful.
We passed by the first tide pool, it was a little to crowded so we hopped over to the next one we seen in the distance.
It was less crowded and very relaxing! Look at that view!
By the time we got back to the bigger pool, it was all to ourselves.
Directions to Queen's Bath:
Drive to the end of Kapiolani Rd in Princeville, Kaua'i. Look for the big sign and gravel parking lot. Do not block houses or park on lawns.
