South Point - October 3, 2014

The popular cliff jumping and fishing/diving spot South Point on the Big Island of Hawai'i is the most southern point of the United States.

The water at South Point is unbelievably clear. It's so blue. The water immediately starts around 30-40 feet deep. Deep enough to take a jump. But be careful of the current it could suck you out to Antarctica! The ladder is old be still sturdy enough to climb back up after your jump.

After jumping looking back towards the cliff theres a cave which leads to this opening. Our GoPro died already, we was pretty bummed. We didn't end up making the jump but definitely will next time around!

Fisherman also try their luck at this spot. Known for pulling up pelagic fish as well.

We watched the sun go down then headed off to the Green Sand Beach, Papakolea.
